The bridge over the Licking River at Butler, Pendelton County, Kentucky. The city of Butler was established around 1852 when the Kentucky Central Railroad was built through the area. A wonderful Northern Kentucky rural country side photo that I get to see first hand every Sunday. This photo was taken from in front of Carter's Chapel United Methodist Church at 1044 Carter's Chapel Rd, near Gardnersville, Ky. The Spot where the photo was taken from is in Pendleton County, the trees to the left over the first ridge are in Grant County and the ridge with the barn in the far distance is in Kenton County.
